The Chosen One earns a powerful new reputation—but pays an unexpected price.

In Episode 13 of Fallout 2, Theone begins by pushing deeper into the dangerous Sierra Army Depot, clearing out its deadly automated defenses before returning to New Reno to continue working with the city's surviving crime family.

This episode includes:

Destroying the Sierra Army Depot security turrets
Returning to New Reno
Becoming a Made Man
Advancing through the Wright family storyline
Traveling to the Raider Camp
Eliminating the raider threat

With several major quests complete, Theone attempts to return to Vault City to turn in completed objectives.

Unfortunately, something goes wrong.

Whether caused by a mutation, scripted event, or an unexpected game glitch, repeated attempts to enter Vault City fail, forcing the journey to continue elsewhere.

Instead, the adventure moves south to the New California Republic.

Along the way, another unexpected twist changes everything.

Every companion is gone.

For the first time in the adventure, Theone truly becomes a lone wanderer, arriving in NCR by himself.

Before beginning the next chapter, he pays a local mechanic to watch over the Highwayman, preparing for whatever awaits in the largest city encountered so far.
