Still Corners is Tessa Murray and Greg Hughes, who met by chance at a London train stop in 2009 and formed the group shortly after. For over a decade they have delivered a steady stream of music that is melancholy, searching and romantic.

Sub Pop signed them off their first few singles and released the debut, Creatures of an Hour, in 2011, followed by Strange Pleasures in 2013. Shortly after, the pair started their own label, Wrecking Light Records, and put out Dead Blue in 2016, Slow Air in 2018 and The Last Exit in 2021, with singles like Heavy Days and Far Rider in between and tours across the US and Europe throughout. Their sixth studio album, Dream Talk, comes in 2024: ten carefully crafted songs, beautifully arranged, elegant and wistful, running from the autumnal opener "Today is the Day" to the hot summer night of the closer "Turquoise Moon." It is a sound that is focused, stylish and seductive.
